Turret Truck - Man-Up Electric These trucks have an elevating operator station which allows the operator to be at the same level as the goods in the racking. This allows the truck to be used as an order picker as well as storing and retrieving full pallet loads. These trucks are equipped with a rotating forks attachment and are intended to transport and store full pallet loads. The rotating attachment allows the truck to store or retrieve loads from both sides of the storage aisle without having to turn the truck within the aisle. When order picking, an empty pallet is placed on the forks and the pallet is then rotated and raised to the most convenient height for the operator to move goods in and out of the racking. This eliminates the need for the operator to bend over to pick and place goods from the racks to the pallet as must be done if using a standard order picker truck. Turret trucks pickup and deliver loads to transfer stations at the ends of the storage aisle where the loads would then be transported to other areas of the warehouse by other types of warehouse equipment. The truck can be used in very narrow aisle (60” wide or less) applications and can be equipped with wire or rail guidance to free the driver from steering when working in the aisle.
